COMMUNICATIONS
Communications Committee
members not only keep the membership informed about the club’s activities,
they also aid in coordinating club work and are the club’s calling
card to prospective members. In addition, communications are used to inform
other clubs, the 6th District and AAF headquarters of club news and accomplishments.
The main medium by which Ad Fed members are kept informed of club news
is the AFFW Buzzwords newsletter. The newsletter features club news
and keeps members up-to-date on important upcoming events, such as the
American Advertising Awards and the monthly luncheon meetings.
Buzzwords is published regularly and can be viewed online from this website.
The committee is also responsible for producing the Ad Fed membership
roster. Beginning in 1998, another important responsibility was added
to the committee’s agenda, maintaining the Ad Fed website.
